We made the trip to Charlotte this past weekend to watch the Gamecocks take on the East Carolina Pirates. It was a hot day for tailgating, but we had fun! Parker has said several times since Saturday, "Mommy, I like tailgating." We're planning to take him to a few more Gamecock games this fall.
Before we left Charlotte on Sunday afternoon, we went with Granddaddy and Grandmomma to feed the ducks in their neighborhood. It has become quite the tradition on Sunday afternoons when we are up there.

On Our Way to See the Gamecocks Play
We saw Cocky last night at the Carolina pep rally! Parker wasn't too sure about him at first, but as soon as we left all he talked about was how much fun he had with him!
Go Gamecocks!

The Carolina vs. Clemson game was Saturday night. Although we couldn't be there in person, we had fun tailgating at home. We had several new Carolina fans cheering with us and one Clemson fan. Parker didn't go to sleep until after the game!
Two of Parker's new favorite phrases are: "I wanmo Lattimo!" (Translation: "I want more, Lattimore") and "Go Gamecocks!"
