Parker's First Fair Trip

We ventured out to the South Carolina State Fair on Sunday afternoon.  (Right at nap time = not the best idea on our part).

Although we had a tired little boy on our hands, we had a nice time with friends and are happy Nanette was able to join us for awhile.

I think Parker's favorite part of the fair was the Fiske Fries and lemonade!

He also really liked the animals.  He woke up this morning talking about the cows and chickens he saw yesterday!  

Parker wasn't tall enough to ride many rides other than the carousel and the ferris wheel.  He was a little hesitant at first, but he seemed to like both of them.  Mommy however had a mild panic attack at the top of the ferris wheel when the little goober began to move around. 

Jon and I get to experience the fair once more this year.  I'll tell you more about it soon!

(We didn't even notice we were matching until we left!)
