Although you can't tell by looking at our blog, 2012 was a big year for us!
Here's a look-back at the fun we had:
In January, we celebrated Parker's third birthday in Savannah.
February brought some of our best friends to Columbia for the weekend. Our family of three also took a class to get ready for our soon-to-arrive fourth member.
In March, Parker had his first soccer game. But, the biggest news of all was when we welcomed Owen Lewis into the world! And what a joy he is to our family!
We ventured out of the house in April for Easter celebrations and a trip to the zoo with Granddaddy and Grandmomma.
We took a trip to Tybee Island in May before I had to return to work. Owen was baptized in May at Granddaddy's church in Savannah. Pops was able to join us for the long weekend over Memorial Day.
June was a busy month. We spent days cooling off at the neighborhood pool with friends. We took a trip to the Tall Ships Festival in Savannah (definitely planning to go again this year) and we attended our first rodeo! I also discovered Instagram which made blogging take a backseat.
We started the month of July in one of our favorite places - Blowing Rock - celebrating the Fourth. Someone also turned four months old and started sleeping a little better through the night!
We started the month of August in Blowing Rock with friends and ended the month with family in Savannah. Gramsy also came to visit us!
There wasn't much blogging going on September through November, but I promise you that we were busy. Pictures for those months are found here and here. I started a new job, football season was in full swing and we had lots of company during the weekends. We spent a fun weekend at Edisto with friends the end of September. Jon also accepted a job in Charlotte which has caused him to live up there during the week (creating less blogging time for me).
December was a fun month! We had our first family pictures taken by Laura and spent time with family over the holidays. Someone special came to visit us in Savannah!
We're gearing up for the year 2013. It will be an exciting year for us as we transition to a new community. We're looking forward to a new adventure! (And I'm making a resolution of being a better blogger).
