I had a new experience this past Saturday.  We spent the evening at a rodeo!  I didn't know what to expect as this was the first rodeo I've been to, but we had a great time and now I'm hooked.

Cowboy Parker took in all the sights.  He loved watching the cowboys and cowgirls on their horses and told us that his favorite part was the bull riding.  His daddy bought him a little lasso that he has been practicing with at home...Brice isn't thrilled about this purchase!

I did make him promise me that he won't become a cowboy (that participates in the rodeo) when he grows up.  In the first few minutes, a cowboy was thrown from his horse and was down for the count (for quite a while).  They announced later that he was fine - just a concussion and a few broken ribs - but it was a little too scary for me! 

There was so much to see and lots of new noises so Owen had fun taking everything in as well.
