An Adventure at Edventure

Meet Eddie...

Eddie is Edventure Children's Museum's centerpiece and the world's largest child measuring 40 feet and 17.5 tons.

Jon, Parker and I spent Saturday at the museum and had a blast!

Although Parker isn't quite big enough yet,  Eddie is full of slides and tubes that children (and adults) can climb through.  Basically, you can climb up his vertebrae to his brain, crawl through his heart, bounce around inside his stomach and slide out his intestines.  Sounds like fun!

(Just as a fun fact from Edventure's Website:  Eddie is twice the size of the sculptures at the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials in Washington, D.C.).

In addition to Eddie, there are several exhibits throughout the museum to see.  Some of our favorites included the World of Work, My Backyard and the Blue Man Group: Making Waves.

It's definitely a fun place for children (and adults) to explore!

And just to give you a better idea of how big Eddie is...
