We had another busy weekend. We met with friends Friday night and ate some awesome homemade shrimp fried rice and vegetables made by Paul. I am hoping to have a picture to post soon of Parker and his friend Jacob who is 3 months old. They are in the same class at daycare and got to see each other Friday night!
Jacob (my brother, not the baby) and Cameron stayed with us Friday evening before a wedding they had in Charleston on Saturday. It was really good to see them.
On Saturday, Jon and I took Parker to Greenville for the day. We had so much fun! It was nice to be back in our old "stomping grounds." The weather felt wonderful - what a difference two hours makes. After a nice outdoor lunch at Trio's, we took some time to walk around Falls Park. Before we left to come home, we rode by our old apartment and reminisced about our first place!
Parker had his first ride in his big boy stroller. He seemed to like being able to look all around.
While we were eating Jon snapped this picture of Parker and me...
He said it would be hard to get another one that good. Well, I think I did pretty well...what do you think? (Can you see his two tiny teeth?)
Jon and Parker at Falls Park
Attempting to get a family photo. Parker doesn't seem too enthusiastic about this process.
We were pretty worn out from the day on Saturday. Jon went over to some friends to watch the big UFC fight, but Parker and I stayed home and went to bed early. We were up early again on Sunday for church and a day full of yard work.
