To: Brice Love: Parker

Dear Brice,

Can you believe I have been home for over four months? I must admit, I didn't know how we were ever going to get along, but now that we've been living together for awhile, I think things are going great. I'm happy to have you as a big brother. However, I have made a list of a few pointers to make things easier for you:

1. When Mom comes home from work in the afternoon, give her a minute before you start the jumping and carrying on. She's trying to juggle her work bag, purse, my daycare bag, the mail and lugging me in my infant carrier (remember I'm getting pretty heavy these days) and it makes it even more difficult when you are constantly running into her. I know she is really excited to see you (I hear her say so everyday when we pull into the garage), but she needs a few minutes to get everything together before she can focus all of her attention on you.

2. You need to quit being so indecisive and either go outside and stay there or don't ask to go out at all. It really gets Dad worked up when you paw at the door only to walk around the patio for a few seconds and then are ready to come back inside. I usually think it's pretty funny unless I'm in the middle of eating and am interrupted! Make up your mind!

3. Now that I'm beginning to roll over, I'm going to be spending quite a lot of time on the floor. It is not necessary to come over and lick me while I am having fun. My feet taste the exact same that they did yesterday!

4. Mom and Dad are not going to get a bigger bed. I know it is possible for you to sleep curled up in a ball - you don't have to sleep perpendicular to them all night. It is beginning to get old hearing them say how tired they are from you taking up all the room in the bed and your 75 pound body hogging the covers. Let them get a better night sleep so they can be ready to play with me first thing in the morning!

5. I know it is hard to believe, but most people agree that I am cuter than you! My latest trick is laughing - which Mom and Dad love to hear. Next time I laugh (or do anything else cute for that matter), please don't go and grab your favorite toy and try to steal the attention away from me.

6. Keep up the laser trick. It is hilarious. It gives us all great entertainment watching you run around the house chasing a little red dot.

That should do it for now...I'll let you know if I think of anything else!

Hugs and Kisses,

Parker
