It had been quite awhile since their last visit with Parker (February) so they both thought he looked like a completely different baby. What a difference a couple months makes. At that time, we were barely getting a few hours of sleep each night and still didn't quite know what we were doing. Now, we can put Parker down for several hours at a time and feel we have more of a handle on this "parenting" thing!
Then - February (1 month old)
Now - May (4 months old)
One thing Parker did well in New Jersey was sleep. Maybe it was the cool nighttime mountain air or else he was simply worn out from all the traveling, but he sure did sleep well during our visit. Don't worry though - there was plenty of play time as well.
We had a very relaxing weekend - just what we needed. Grandpop and Oma made several of their specialty meals, while we sat around and spent plenty of time lounging. We also met some of Oma's family - her son and his family who are expecting their second baby in just another week. All in all, it was a very enjoyable vacation.
